We NEED an entertainment center. Look at how silly our tv looks and we have boxes of movies with no where to put them. We really liked the place we bought our kitchen table from, All the Great Rooms in Orem, and we have been talking to them about customizing a piece they had... it sounded like it'd be super easy at first but now since the guy went out of town for a week and then wasn't returning our calls for a week we're a little disappointed and it will now be at least another 4 weeks till we get that and we wanted to get matching bookshelves sooo.... we still have stacks and stacks of boxes of books with no home. Awesome.
Rob mentioned that RC Willey gave us a $300 gift card for all the trouble we had with them which was nice but we still don't want to buy an entertainment center from them. Anyone else have any good ideas? We're looking to get something that will fit up to a 50" TV that we'll work up to someday in the near or distant future.... do you know my husband? Ahhh.... There are tons of TV stands and entertainment centers for smaller TVs but I haven't found anything I love or that will fit the TV of Rob's dreams.
But life is good and I still love our new place! Sounds like I'm just complaining, huh? Sorry... can't have much to complain about when you have this cute little face to hug and kiss all day:

Big Morning . . .
This morning was a big morning--first we got the rest of our couch in!! At 8:15 RC Willey dropped off the other 2 pieces so we no longer have a hole in our couch. Then at 8:20 the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Heller stating that the D.C. gun ban was unconstitutional based on the 2nd ammendment. It was enough to keep me home from work until 8:45 this morning. Two VERY different things to blog about together but they both happened within 5 minutes of each other--actually I think the ruling was released while RC Willey was here. So really at the same time. I'm happy about how the ruling came out although it's still to be determined how much this will affect gun laws outside of DC or anything short of a full ban on guns. Read about the ruling here:
Here's our couch all put together:It's just a touch too big for the room--you can see that it hangs over the carpet onto the tile just a few inches which we didn't want to have happen-- but I think we'll keep it. So a month after our couch was supposed to be ready for us RC Willey finally brought the rest of the couch. They did give us a $300 gift card for the problems that we had so we'll go back at least once and give them a second chance.
