If I had $50 to spend on a little potty I would buy this one immediately!
"Flush and Cheer Varsity Potty"
It plays the BYU fight song! Can you just imagine the joy on Robby's face?? Ahh.... he is doing pretty well asking to go on the potty and we just use one of those little cushion things that sits on the big potty so I'd rather he just uses that but this is almost cool enough to make me waste the money!

(he was in the bath and said he needed to go potty so I sat him on the toilet and then he was cold so I put his towel around his shoulders - he said, "ooo, ree-dee warm!" he's hilarious)
So Rob got me a nice camera for Christmas and I've been trying to figure out how to use it! Last night I went to a class at Allen's that was cheap and pretty helpful! I'm really excited to learn more and get better and better.... could this face, or his pictures, get any cuter? We shall see!

I'm not the biggest GAME person but for some reason I planned a Game Night activity for our Branch next Tuesday.... hmm..... it just felt like the right thing at the time!
So I need some ideas! I'm looking for some simple games that are good with big groups - maybe even like 30 people.... of course we can break up into smaller groups but I'd rather do something we can all do together.

Tonight we went to the BYU Basketball game. It was especially nice because it started at 6 pm instead of 8 pm - much better for bedtime! :) Robby all day long was saying, "dow (go) basball game NOWWWWWW!"
Chris Miles to take a picture with us. He felt so bad! That's ok. Robby will love looking at the picture later!
It was a great game! Oh yeah, they played CSU and we won 94 - 60. GO COUGARS!!!
Most of our close friends & family know that Rob and I can often be found at home, watching a show, each of us with our laptops on our laps.... we've been teased quite a bit for this actually! "The new age couple!" So really, it's no surprise Robby has learned by example....
As I said before I use YouTube to show Robby "rah rah" videos when I get sick of singing! Now he always wants to watch them! He also always knows whose computer he wants to watch them on - it differs. "Watch rah rah MOMMY's puter!" or "Watch daddy's puter NOWWWW!"
And we've found so many different BYU/Cosmo video clips.... he'll say, "Not dis rah rah!" "Mommy, basball rah rah!" Oh... Cosmo at the basketball game, 2 little girls singing the cougar fight song, Cosmo skiing.... it goes on and on! And he sees the little picture on the sidebar of other videos and he'll point to which ones he wants to watch.... we also watch some Signing Time songs and other stuff - but you have to be careful what you click on on YouTube! Which makes me glad he can't use the mouse pad himself but nervous that he's already getting used to the computer! Yikes!
This is really funny and cute but it means that anytime I want to check something on my computer I'm going to get demands to watch "rah rah" and while it seemed like a great idea before it's getting old!! I had to sneaky check my email while he was in the bath today! Ah well! He makes me laugh....

I'm sure there will come a day when I miss the fact that Robby wants to be held by me constantly but my goodness! I can hardly get anything done when he is up! All day long.... follows me around... "mommy! hold you!"
I say, "Robby, should we read some books?" "Do you want a snack?" "Do you want to color?"
Him: "Mommy! HOLD YOU!"
or like this...
Robby: "Milk! Mommy! More milk!"
Me: "Ok, let's go to the kitchen and get you some." I start to walk from my bedroom to the kitchen...
Robby: "NO! Mommy hold you!" And then he will freak out if I do not pick him up....
And some times I can understand that maybe I'm not giving him as much attention as he'd want - like I'm trying to do laundry, heaven forbid!, or the dishes.... but I haven't even been trying to read a book of my own or anything....
Anyways! Again, I'm grateful for my little momma's boy! I am! I love him to death and like my mom says, "he's my biggest fan!" And I know it will all fly by all too quickly.... But I'm just not sure the best way to fulfill his mommy fix! Any ideas??? Or at least just thanks for letting me vent! :)
And have I told you what a cute boy he is?
The other day I asked him to give me a kiss, which he did, and then he said, "kiss forhead", then, "kiss cheek", then "oder one cheek"..... so I got kisses all over my face! It was so cute!
Today at the grocery store Rob was getting something out of the frozen section and Robby was trying to open one of the freezer doors himself and Rob said (jokingly), "You're weak sauce! You need more muscle!" And Robby said, "I need more muscle!" If you can imagine that in his sweet little voice it was pretty hilarious...
Maybe what I need to do is remember this image when he's saying, "Mommy, hold you!"

It was a great day!
Got to be with great friends and family!
And eat great food!
And my yummy "cake" Lindsay picked up!
And most importantly be with Rob again after 10 long days of being apart!!!!! Yeah!
I have so much to be grateful for - I love my life! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!
I was able to go home to Maryland for a quick visit last week! I know there are a ton of people at home I wasn't able to see but the time just went by too quickly!
Robby loved seeing the temple as we drove around the beltway! Saturday night we stopped by the visitor center and he thought that was pretty awesome. We listened to the message that the big Jesus statue gives and when it was over he said, "more Jzhhee-sus talking!" He would not stand still for a picture though! But isn't the DC temple just beautiful!??
It was great to see family but we sure missed daddy Rob! I also got pretty beastly sick the last half of the trip which was a pain. :( Hopefully people will come out to Utah to visit cause I don't know when we'll get back east again!
When we did get home last Wednesday, Robby was so confused/disappointed that Daddy wasn't home!! Rob was in Telluride for a ski trip and didn't get back till Saturday afternoon - yes, my birthday. Every day Robby walked around the house, "Daddy! Where are you?" And watching out the window saying, "Daddy, come home!" On Friday we were able to explain, "daddy will be home tomorrow, after your nap!" So all day he was saying, "afwa nap daddy come home!" At one point he even was standing at the front door, whispering, "daddy! come home!"
Saturday Rob came home and woke Robby up from his nap. I sat down next to Rob, who was holding Robby, and Robby pushed me away and said, "No! DADDY!" Like, don't touch me mom, I'm with dad right now....
I'm grateful to be home and to have Rob home - it's not easy to be apart and away from home! Now I'm trying to get back in the groove of working out and eating healthy... but wait! First, my birthday! :)

Whew! January has FLOWN by! Really is it February?? Yes, it really is. I am sure because my birthday was the 31st (Saturday) and it is over!
I went to MD for a quick trip last week so I've been a little... well a lot.... out of the loop! I'm looking forward to getting caught up on ya'lls blogs and making a few posts myself!
Oh these kids are so cute...... Liv was over late Friday night so we threw the kids in the bath together and got them all ready for bed.... they had a ball!
And now we have these pictures to embarrass them when they are grown up friends with each other! :)
