Game night help....

I'm not the biggest GAME person but for some reason I planned a Game Night activity for our Branch next Tuesday.... hmm..... it just felt like the right thing at the time!

So I need some ideas! I'm looking for some simple games that are good with big groups - maybe even like 30 people.... of course we can break up into smaller groups but I'd rather do something we can all do together.

Any ideas??

Ah! Linds took my suggestion! Mafia is the BEST! Its acutally really fun to play. Your forget until you play it that it's fun.

Also anything like that acting out words game (what is that called?!?) or drawing words game (grr... can't think of the names).

Taboo or one of those other group games. If you want a few smaller group games you can do Clue- that's like 7 people I think or Monopoly- that's like 7 too (I have both those games if you need them).

I'm mostly a fan of Nertz. You play it in teams of 2, and you really want 4-5 teams/table. So at 10 folks per table, you would only need 3 tables and could make people alternate tables in hopes of getting to know people better - ie, the 2 losers of each team have to move on or something. I like this game because there is good competition, and it moves super fast so people don't get bored on you. Good luck boss.

We love to play capture the flag with big groups of people. Its fun to split it into girls vs. guys too. It can get competitive and really fun.
